The
sole purpose of this report is to give my opinion on what beverage
would be best to drink after a hard workout. After trying multiple
drinks I brought it down to two drink, water and Gatorade. I am hoping
for some feedback, but this is how i judged the the items to make my
decision:
1) Cost
2) Nutritional Value
3) Taste
Personally
i recommend the Gatorade because of the amount you get for the price.
Gatorade has so many flavors and is packed full of vitamins and
nutrients and eve has water in it. While working out, you use up a lot
of stuff in your body and Gatorade has what you need to refuel and get
going again. Clearly, Gatorade would be the better choice.
A
16.9 oz bottle of water can range anywhere from $1.50 to $5.00
depending on where you are. There is no nutritional value in it other
than it hydrates you. Also, there is no taste to water. This is why I
wouldn’t choose water.
The retail price for a 16.9 oz bottle of Gatorade is $1.49. Gatorade has water in it to help assist you in hydrating, salt to replenish what you’ve sweated out, carbohydrates to fuel your body, electrolytes and many vitamins and minerals that are good for you. There are an amazing 59 flavors here in the U.S. and so many more offered internationally. This is why I’d choose Gatorade over water
